The Canadian Youth Climate Assembly wants to recognize that the land we work on is the traditional territory of many Indigenous Nations across Turtle Island. We recognize the enduring presence, knowledge, and stewardship of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. As part of our commitment to reconciliation, this program will actively foreground Indigenous perspectives and ways of seeing, honouring diverse worldviews and fostering respectful relationships.
